"I'm Austin Hayes, owner of Collective Culture Barbershop in Johnson City, Tn. I started cutting hair 7 years ago on a random venture. I immediately fell in love with it and had a huge vision of wanting my own shop. Seven years later that vision came to fruition. Our motto is LGFG "Look Good, Feel Good" which refers to our shop's vision beyond a haircut. We offer full service beard & hair care, hair/beard products, esthetician skin care, facial waxing, beverages, and even complimentary cologne as you walk out to embody our LGFG message."
Cutting hair is a passion of mine because it allows me to express my creativity while making others feel confident and happy. Every haircut is like a blank canvas where I can bring out the best in someone's appearance, tailored to their unique style and personality. The satisfaction of seeing a client's smile after a fresh cut is incredibly rewarding. Additionally, the process of perfecting my skills and staying updated with the latest trends keeps me engaged and excited about my craft.
Being a barber is more than just a profession to me it’s a passion. I love the opportunity to help people look and feel their best while building genuine connections with every client who sits in my chair. From precision cuts to fresh styles, I take pride in my craft and the confidence it brings to others. Seeing someone leave with a smile and renewed self-esteem is what makes being a barber so rewarding.
Rooted in the Appalachian mountains, I believe a barbershop is more than a place to get a haircut - it's a place to slow down, share a conversation, and build genuine relationships. My goal is provide every client with a quality cut, intentional conversation, and an experience that leaves them feeling refreshed, confident, and better than when they walked in.

Best barbershop in town! Staff is super friendly and the shop is extremely clean and inviting. Booked my appointment online but they have a barber there taking walkins anytime. Recommend to anyone wanting a professional cut with a variety of options.
